Meet the Haute Healing
Board Members
We come from many different backgrounds and possess different strengths, all working together for a singular purpose: making life a little bit easier for those in need.
My name is Dominique Aimee Jean and I am a Double Board Certified Pediatric Anesthesiologist. After my fellowship training at a children's hospital, I wanted to create more balance in my life, so I decided to concurrently pursue other passions. In addition to being a physician, I am also a Wardrobe & Personal Stylist. I have styled celebrities such as Skai Jackson, Froy Gutierrez, Karan Brar, Lilimar, Katherine Castro and Haley Ramm. I have also styled talent for The Kids Choice Awards and Sag Awards, in addition to multiple magazine publications.
I noticed that at photo shoots, models and actors have so much fun getting hair, makeup, and clothing styled for professional photographs. I would love to give chronically ill, terminally ill, LGBTQIA and disadvantaged youth that very same experience. There are many teens who would benefit from a day with a Glam Team. I feel that as a physician specializing in children; it is important to not only help to heal kids physically but emotionally and spiritually as well. Simply put, when you look good, you feel good! As their medical teams and/or care partners heal their bodies and environmental circumstances, The Haute Healing Foundation can heal their minds and spirits. I am proud of our organization and I look forward to expanding the Haute Healing Foundation family.
After moving to Los Angeles from Raleigh, North Carolina on New Year’s Eve in 2005, Manuel Jackson or better known as E! Or MannyJStyle evolved from artist, designer, stylist, philanthropist and father. Manuel attended North Carolina State University and pursued his Bachelors in Psychology and later moved to California where he graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 2006 with a degree in Apparel Manufacturing and Management.
Starting from his mothers garage hand painting clothes his 1st brainchild Ekqualyte Abstract Abstract working his way to become the founder of The Gents Closet, a Hollywood base men Style Haus (The 1st Men Style Haus in Los Angeles). Where Manuel designed a collection of men accessories of ties and bow ties to carrying and supplying the latest upcoming labels from around the world supplying a high-end clientele, stylist, celebrities and influencers.
TGC is where Manuel coined the Style Persona MannyJstyle because of his unique since of Style and pattern arrangements MANNYJ worked as a lead stylist and brand Ambassador.
Manny J has been able to partner with some amazing organizations and Non Profits such as Wood Craft Rangers, Ronald McDonald House, Autism Speaks, American Cancer Society, Movember and many more.
As the Vice President of Haute Healing Manny J brings his unique sense of style, creativity and ability to bring people together as well as 10+ years experience in the Mental Health field working with kids and adults from several diverse backgrounds and mental health illnesses from Mr/DD Autism as Behavioral Therapist.
Manny believes: “Through all my experience I pride my self the most on loving people genuinely and being able to inspire people through creativity this is where my passion intersects with my purpose “....
My name is Paz Eliza and I have been a Respiratory Care Practitioner for almost a decade. I got my start as a student intern at Children's Hospital LA and that is where I found my calling. After passing the exams for my medical license, I was accepted into the prestigious Respiratory Care Residency Program and has been working at CHLA ever since.
My creative imagination had lead to follow my passion as a wardrobe stylist. I’ve worked on prestigious fashion projects at i.am+, Apple TV, Good Morning America, Entertainment Tonight, CNN International, New York Fashion Week, Los Angeles Fashion Week, Men’s Fashion Week, Sofitel Los Angeles, Wall Street Journal, ESPN, Met Gala, Target Commercial, OWN Network, Entrepreneur Magazine, Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Dream Force, Teen Choice Awards, Diet Coke Commercial, and National Breast Cancer along with numerous music videos and red carpet events. I have also worked with Grammy Award-winning musicians such as will.i.am, Black Eyed Peas, Beyonce and Taylor Swift.
I am beyond excited to blend my passions and careers in medicine and fashion serving as a board member at Haute Healing.
